Not all allegations of harassment require an external investigation. Many situations can be resolved internally, often by having one of your employees complete an internal investigation. Train your people to conduct appropriate internal investigations by having them participate in our two-day workshop. Your team of managers and human resource professionals will acquire the knowledge and skills required to know whether they should investigate an allegation of harassment internally, and if so, how to go about it. The two-day workshop is offered virtually or in person at a location and time convenient to your organization.
Participants will:
· LEARN WHAT HARASSMENT IS
And what it is not, as well as the definition of sexual harassment
· LEARN HOW TO INVESTIGATE
To be able to confidently respond to allegations of harassment in your workplace
· PRACTISE INVESTIGATING
By applying techniques in mock interviews as part of a case study
· WRITE AN INVESTIGATION REPORT
And receive feedback on how to improve their skills
Testimonials of recent workshop participants:
"This workshop was eye opening, and just a huge relief. I don't feel I handled prior complaint investigations well, now I feel like I have a formula so I can be prepared. I had no clue what I was doing before, now I feel better about it. Not looking forward to doing it, but at least I don't have to have the extreme fear and anxiety about it, because I have the tools I need to do it. I wish I took this course years ago. It needs to be in HR 101. This should be mandatory, seriously!!"
"This workshop was extremely relevant and I would highly recommend it for anyone in a management position."
"A no-nonsense approach to what can be a very difficult and daunting task. Resources and templates to assist with each and every step."
"I really enjoyed the entire course and found it very practical. I usually don't enjoy role play, but I felt that the mock interviews in this case were actually very helpful."
"I found the course on Workplace Investigations was an excellent workshop enabling me to be able to do Internal Investigations with a "very good" level of confidence. The instructors were well prepared, the course materials were excellent, and I learned a lot. I would strongly recommend this course!"
